06 / Questions
Tutoring: common questions.
We live in Hong Kong, Singapore or Taiwan. Is this the right page?
Families in those markets have their own site sections with local fees and contacts. You can find them from the list of markets.
Do you teach our country's national syllabus?
Lessons follow international and British curricula. We do not teach national school syllabuses or national university entrance exams.
How are lesson times arranged across time zones?
Lessons are booked in your child's local time. When you enquire, tell us your time zone and the times your child is free, and the coordinator matches a tutor whose hours fit.
How often are lessons?
That depends on your child's goals. A plan might start with one lesson a week, with extra lessons before exams if you wish. The coordinator suggests a monthly plan after the first consultation.
Can you help with IB internal assessments or the Extended Essay?
Tutors help your child plan, research and improve their own work within the IB's rules on outside help. They do not write anything for submission.

Start by talking it through.
Tell us where you live, your child's school, course and year. The coordinator will suggest where to begin.
