Applying to UK universities,
with one coordinator.

This service is for families in any country whose child is applying to UK universities through UCAS, usually while taking the IB Diploma or A-Level. We help with choosing courses, the personal statement, interviews and the timeline, and the same coordinator plans the school subjects that offers will depend on.

01 / Who it is for

Students heading to university.

  • Students at international or British-curriculum schools taking the IB Diploma or A-Level, in any country
  • Students at boarding school in another country, with parents at home
  • Students one or two years from applying, choosing subjects with future courses in mind

02 / What we cover

Entry requirements and deadlines are set by each university. Always check UCAS (opens in a new tab) and the university's course page, including any requirements for international applicants.

03 / How it works

A single plan, a single coordinator.

  1. ConsultationYour child's school, subjects, predicted grades and the courses under consideration.
  2. A written planCourse research, the personal statement, interviews and tests, all counted back from deadlines.
  3. Sessions and school subjectsApplication sessions alongside IB or A-Level subject lessons where needed, scheduled in your time zone.
  4. Interviews and offersInterview practice where required, then support in comparing offers.

04 / Timing

A year in advance.

Depending on your country and school, the final school year may start in August, September or another month, and the UCAS application usually runs alongside it. Starting course research in the year before the final year, and the personal statement over the summer that follows, often helps. Some courses, including Oxford, Cambridge and most medicine, close earlier than others; see UCAS dates and deadlines (opens in a new tab).

The UCAS timeline sets out the usual sequence. We do not promise an offer or a set length of preparation.

Universities elsewhere.

We begin with UK universities through UCAS. Support for other countries, such as the USA, will follow once tutors and processes are ready. (to be confirmed)

Your tutors.

University application support is led by tutors whose profiles list their background, the subjects and tests they teach, and the qualifications ELT has checked.

Fees in USD.

Subject lessons are charged per one-to-one lesson. University application support is quoted separately; see the fees page.

05 / Questions

Questions about university applications.

Will you write the personal statement?

No. It must be your child's own work. We help them plan it, ask questions that bring out their thinking and comment on drafts.

Can you guarantee an offer?

No. Universities make admissions decisions. We prepare your child and support the application.

Do you prepare for IELTS, TOEFL or SAT?

Only where a specialist tutor is in place. (to be confirmed)

My child follows our country's national curriculum. Can you help?

We teach international and UK curricula, not national ones. (to be confirmed)

Plan the application.

Tell us your country, your child's school and subjects, and the courses under consideration.
