05 / Questions
About English lessons.
My child speaks English at home. Why English tutoring?
Lessons focus on exam skills: analysis, essay structure and writing to time in the form IB, IGCSE or A-Level assess. Everyday fluency is not the aim.
Can lessons follow the set texts from school?
Yes. Send the reading list or course outline, and the tutor plans around it.
Do you help with coursework?
Tutors teach the skills and give feedback on drafts in line with the school's and the exam board's rules on outside help. They do not write work for students.
Start with where they are now.
Tell us your child's school, curriculum and year, and the topics that matter most this term.
