Course · Boarding school entry
Boarding school preparation,
as one programme.
This programme is for Singapore families whose child is applying to boarding schools, in the UK or other countries. Entrance tests, interviews and the English, maths and science they rely on are taught one to one, online, and planned together by one coordinator rather than as separate courses.

01 / Who it is for
Families looking abroad.
- Children applying to boarding schools for entry at 11+, 13+ or 16+ (to be confirmed)
- Students at local or international schools in Singapore
- Families still comparing countries — see boarding schools by country

03 / How it works
One plan, one coordinator.
- Consultation and assessmentYour goals, target countries and schools, and where your child is now.
- A written planWhich tests, which subjects and how many lessons a month, worked back from registration deadlines.
- Weekly lessonsOne-to-one, online, with tutors in Japan (one hour ahead) and the UK, after school and at weekends.
- Tests and interviewsTimed practice before each test, and interview practice before each school's interview.
- After entryThe same coordinator can continue with Academic Tutoring at the new school.
04 / How long
When to start.
It can help to begin a year or more before the first test, and earlier if English or maths needs building first. Singapore's local school year starts in January, while UK schools start in September, so your coordinator maps your child's year first. We do not promise a result or a fixed length of preparation.
See the application timeline.

05 / Questions
About the programme.
Can we take just one test course?
Yes. The programme is a way of planning; you can also book a single course such as UKiset.
Is it only for UK schools?
No. The UK is our starting point, but we also prepare for schools in other countries. Tests we do not have tutors for are not offered.
Do you guarantee a place?
No. Schools decide admissions.
Plan the whole route.
Tell us your child's year, school and the countries you are considering.
