04 / Admissions and practicalities
Before you apply.
- Schools set their own assessments and interviews; some have long waiting lists (to be confirmed).
- Hong Kong and Singapore share a time zone, so lessons and calls stay at the same hours.
- Students who are not Hong Kong residents need a study visa or the right status (to be confirmed).
- Guardianship arrangements for boarders are set by the school. ELT does not arrange guardians; we can share a list of providers (to be confirmed).
Partner schools.
Where we list schools, partner schools are marked. ELT may receive a referral fee from partner schools; this does not change the order in which we suggest schools. See school applications.
05 / Questions
Families ask.
Can my child keep the same tutor after moving to Hong Kong?
Yes. The time zone is the same, so lessons can continue at the same times.
Do you guarantee a place?
No. Schools decide admissions.
