Academic Tutoring · Hong Kong
Your child's school subjects,
one to one.
Academic Tutoring is for children at international schools in Hong Kong, and at boarding schools abroad. Native English-speaking subject specialists teach English, Maths and the sciences in English, online, following your child's own curriculum — IB, IGCSE, A-Level or the UK Key Stages. One coordinator follows your child from stage to stage.

04 / Your coordinator
Not a series of one-off lessons.
Your coordinator chooses the tutor, agrees a plan with you and reads the written note from every lesson. When your child moves on — a new subject, a new school, a new country — the learning record moves with them, and a new tutor is briefed before the first lesson.
Lessons follow your child's school calendar: coursework, internal assessments such as the IB's Internal Assessment and Extended Essay, and exam sessions. We support the learning; the work submitted to school must remain your child's own.

- Written note after every lesson
- Report to parents every (to be confirmed)
05 / How we choose tutors
Specialists in the subject.
- Subject firstTutors teach the subjects and curricula they know. We do not ask one tutor to cover everything.
- Checked by ELTQualifications, teaching experience and identity are checked before a tutor is introduced. Tutors in the UK have a DBS check.
- Hong Kong hoursTutors in Japan are one hour ahead of Hong Kong; tutors in the UK can teach in Hong Kong evenings and at weekends.
06 / Questions
About tutoring.
Do you teach the local DSE curriculum?
No. We teach international and UK-style curricula — IB, IGCSE, A-Level and the UK Key Stages. For children moving from a local school to an international school, see international school entry.
How often are lessons?
Lessons are usually weekly, with more before exams if you wish. Your coordinator suggests a number of lessons a month after the first consultation.
Can you help with IB Internal Assessment or the Extended Essay?
We help your child plan, research and improve their own work. We do not write work for submission.

Tell us about your child.
Their school, year, curriculum and the subjects that need support.
