These terms apply to one-to-one online lessons and admissions support that families in Hong Kong book with ELT School. The contract is with ELT Education Inc. (Tokyo, Japan).

The contracting party

ELT School is operated by ELT Education Inc. (Tokyo, Japan), the contracting party for all lessons (5-32-12 Shiba, Minato City, Tokyo 108-0014, Japan), together with ELT School of English Ltd. (35 Ballards Lane, London, N3 1XW, United Kingdom).

Our services

We provide one-to-one lessons online only, and admissions support as agreed in your written plan. We do not guarantee any test result, school place or university offer. Schools and universities decide admissions.

Booking and payment

A contract begins when you accept a written plan. Fees are in Hong Kong dollars, as shown on our fees page at the time you accept. （to be confirmed）

Changing and cancelling lessons

Lesson times may be changed with （to be confirmed） notice, Hong Kong time. （to be confirmed）

Referral fees

Some partner schools, and some guardianship providers, may pay ELT a referral fee when a family we have supported enrols or signs up. We tell you which schools and providers are partners. Whether a fee is paid does not change the order in which we suggest schools.

Schoolwork

Tutors help students understand and improve their own work. We do not write coursework or assessed work for submission.
