This page is for Singapore families whose child is at a boarding school abroad, in the UK or elsewhere. Subject specialists teach one to one, online, at times that fit the school day in your child's time zone, and reports still come to you in Singapore.

## Around the school week.

- **Your child's time zone**: Lessons are booked in the student's local time, in gaps the school allows, such as weekends or evening study time.
- **The school's calendar**: Lessons follow the school's course, homework, mocks and exam seasons.
- **Reports to Singapore**: You receive the lesson notes and reports in Singapore, every (to be confirmed).
- **Handover**: If ELT taught your child before entry, the coordinator passes on the learning record to the new tutor.

## Who teaches when.

| Japan and the UK | UK is 9 hours behind Japan (8 during British Summer Time) |

For students in other countries, the coordinator chooses a tutor whose hours fit the school day.

## Alongside, not instead.

Tutoring adds to the school's teaching and does not replace it. With your permission, the coordinator can take account of reports and feedback from the school.

Some schools have rules about outside tutoring during term. We follow the school's rules (to be confirmed).
