# Executive English

Source: https://www.eltschool.org/intl/en/executive-english

Executive English is one-to-one English for executives and professionals, taught online by a tutor matched to your work. Lessons are built around the meetings, negotiations, presentations and documents you actually deal with, at times that fit your time zone. Fees are in USD, wherever you live.

ELT School began in London in 1984 as ELT School of English. As we added academic subjects and admissions support, the name became ELT School.

## Built around your situations.

Choose the programme closest to the situation you have in mind; your coordinator shapes the detail with you.

- **Executive Business English** (Meetings · Negotiation · Presentations · Writing): Leading and contributing to meetings, negotiating, presenting to boards and clients, and writing emails, reports and proposals that read as you intend.
- **Global Mobility** (Relocation · New role abroad): English for the months before and after a move abroad: a new team, new working conventions, and everyday life in a new city.

Business dinners and networking are covered within both programmes. (to be confirmed)

## From your agenda to practice.

1. **First consultation**: A conversation with a coordinator about your role, the situations where English matters, and what you would like to change.
2. **A written plan**: A plan for your lessons — focus, frequency and the tutor matched to your situations. You decide whether to begin.
3. **Practice with your own material**: Lessons use the real agendas, slides, drafts and emails you bring, so practice is close to the work itself.
4. **Feedback**: A written note after each lesson, and a regular review of the plan with your coordinator.

## Working with confidential material.

You choose what to bring, and you can remove names and figures before sharing. (to be confirmed)

## Matched to your situations.

Tutors are chosen for experience relevant to your situations, not only for speaking English as a first language. Each profile shows only what ELT has checked and the tutor has agreed to publish.
