# Courses, wherever your family lives.

For families in countries where ELT School has no local site, every course is taught online in English and contracted in USD. Courses are grouped by the three parts of international education — school subjects, the next school and university — and one coordinator can combine them into a single plan.

We teach international and UK curricula (such as IB, IGCSE and A-Level), not national curricula of individual countries. Living in Hong Kong, Singapore or Taiwan? Each of those markets has its own local ELT School site.

## Weekly support in school subjects.

For students at international schools, British-curriculum schools and boarding schools in any country: English, Maths and the sciences, taught to the course and exam board their school follows.

- **Academic Tutoring** (English · Maths · Sciences): One-to-one lessons that follow your child's own syllabus, set texts and exam board.
- **IB** (PYP · MYP · Diploma): SL and HL subjects, with guidance on the IA, Extended Essay and TOK that stays within IB rules.
- **IGCSE and A-Level** (IGCSE · A-Level): Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel specifications, planned around each exam series.
- **Students at boarding school** (Any country): Lessons fitted around the school timetable, with reports sent to parents at home.

## Entry to boarding school.

Preparation for boarding schools in the UK and other countries, and help choosing and applying — planned together with the school subjects the tests rely on.

- **Boarding school preparation** (Tests · English · Maths · Science): Entrance tests, interviews and the subjects underneath them, run as one programme.
- **School applications** (Choosing · Applying · Joining): Shortlisting schools, managing applications and getting ready to join, alongside teaching.

## Entrance tests and interviews.

- **UKiset** (UK schools): An assessment that UK independent schools may ask overseas applicants to take.
- **ISEB Pre-Test** (UK schools): The online test some UK senior schools set ahead of 13+ entry.
- **11+ and 13+** (UK schools): Schools' own entrance exams and Common Entrance in English, maths and science.
- **Interview** (All countries): Talking about interests and thinking aloud with an unfamiliar adult.

Tests used by schools in other countries, such as SSAT, ISEE and AEAS, will be added once specialist tutors are in place. (to be confirmed)

## Applying to university.

For students taking the IB Diploma or A-Level who are applying to UK universities through UCAS, with the same coordinator who plans their school subjects.

- **University admissions** (UCAS · Personal statement · Interview): Course choices, the personal statement, interviews and a timeline built back from UCAS deadlines.
- **The UCAS timeline** (Guide · Timing): How UCAS deadlines, offers and results line up with your child's school year.

University admissions tests and English tests (such as IELTS, TOEFL or SAT) are offered only where specialist tutors are in place. (to be confirmed)

## Where should we start?

Tell us which country you live in, your child's school and year, and what comes next. Your coordinator will suggest the courses that fit.
