# International education, one to one.

Source: https://www.eltschool.org/hk/en

From your child's school subjects to the next school and university applications — native English-speaking subject specialists teach one to one, online, and the same coordinator stays with your family from stage to stage.

ELT School was founded in London in 1984. Lessons are online only; there is no ELT classroom in Hong Kong. Fees are in HKD. This site is also available in [繁體中文](https://www.eltschool.org/hk/zh).

Support through every stage: Primary · Key Stage 3 · IGCSE · IB · A-Level · UCAS

## Three ways in.

Hong Kong families come to us at three points — school subjects, the next school and university. Your coordinator plans the rest with you.

- **At an international school in Hong Kong** (IB · IGCSE · A-Level): Weekly one-to-one lessons in English, Maths and the sciences, following your child's own school curriculum and assessment calendar.
- **Moving to the next school** (Boarding schools · International schools): Entry tests, interviews and applications for boarding schools abroad and international schools in Hong Kong, prepared together with school subjects.
- **Applying to university** (UCAS · Personal statements · Interviews): UCAS timing, subject choices, personal statements and interviews, planned alongside IB Diploma or A-Level lessons. We do not promise offers.

Moving to an international school in Hong Kong? See [international school entry](https://www.eltschool.org/hk/en/courses/international-school-entry). Comparing schools by country? Our comparison is in [繁體中文](https://www.eltschool.org/hk/zh/boarding-schools).

## Start early. Keep the same guide.

Families often start years before the next step — building English, Maths and science first, then adding entry tests and interviews, then the application to a new school or to university. After each move, lessons continue in the subjects that need support.

One coordinator keeps the learning record, briefs each tutor and reports to you every (to be confirmed). Hong Kong is one hour behind tutors in Japan and seven or eight hours ahead of tutors in the UK, so lessons can fit after school and at weekends.

- Plans each stage with you
- Reads every tutor's notes
- Hands over when a tutor changes

**A learning record**

- Stage: Year 7 · 13+ entry
- This month: Reasoning practice, IGCSE-style Maths
- Next review: With parents, (to be confirmed)

## Before you ask.

**Is there an ELT classroom in Hong Kong?**

No. All lessons are one to one and online, so your child can learn from home in Hong Kong — or from a boarding school abroad later on.

**Do you help with university applications?**

Yes. For UK universities through UCAS, we help with timing, subject choices, the personal statement and interviews, alongside IB Diploma or A-Level lessons. The writing stays your child's own. See [university applications](https://www.eltschool.org/hk/en/courses/university-admissions).

**Do you guarantee a school or university place?**

No. Schools and universities decide admissions. We prepare your child and support the application.
